BINTAN – Bupati Bintan, Roby Kurniawan menuturkan bahwa ia menginginkan yang terbaik untuk para pekerja Bintan. Ia juga menuturkan akan menyiapkan program-program tenaga kerja seperti akan memperbanyak program pelatihan kerja yang bersertifikasi bagi calon tenaga kerja di Bintan.
Hal tersebut dikatakannya saat Peringatan Hari Buruh Internasional Tingkat Kabupaten Bintan bersama ratusan pekerja/buruh di Pantai Dugong, Kecamatan Gunung Kijang, Rabu (1/5) pagi.
“Kedepannya kita akan fokus bagaimana bisa menyiapkan banyak program-program dari pemerintah daerah, mungkin akan memperbanyak pelatihan skill tenaga kerja yang bersertifikasi,” ujarnya
Menurutnya, program-program tersebut didapat berdasarkan hasil diskusi dengan sejumlah pekerja/buruh yang mengungkapkan keinginan bagi para pencari kerja untuk dapat memiliki sertifikasi dengan keahlian tertentu.
