  1. I see absolutely no point in using IPv6 for devices inside a local network, how many devices do you think you need to connect on a LAN to be able to run out of addresses? Why do you want your devices to be directly exposed to the outside world? IPv6 is all nice and dandy but I see it more useful only for devices that actually need to be exposed to the outside world From a security standpoint I prefer network segmentation, and besides that IPv4 is so much easier both to set up and to remember IPv6 exists and has its use cases, doesn’t mean that you should necessarily switch to it in any case, for a home LAN for example I don’t see any reason to do so
