TANJUNGPINANG – Akademi Dakwah Indonesia (ADI) Provinsi Kepulauan Riau (Kepri) mulai melaksanakan perkuliahan pada semester ini, September 2023. Diharapkan, empat tahun ke depan sudah lahir pendakwah handal di bumi “Segantang Lada” itu.
“Sebagai daerah yang didominasi pulau, kami punya tanggungjawab moral untuk menghasilkan pendakwah atau dai yang akan kita tempatkan nanti di pelosok,” ujar Sekretaris Dewan Dakwah Provinsi Kepri, Marsudi, S.Sos, M.Si, akhir pekan lalu (17/9), di Tanjungpinang.
Menurutnya, keberadaan ADI memang dimaksudkan untuk memperkuat aqidah ummat Islam yang berada di daerah terpencil, di tujuh kabupaten/kota se Kepri.
“Saat ini Dewan Dakwah sudah menempatkan beberapa dai di sejumlah kabupaten/kota yang ada di Kepri,” ujarnya.
Dikatakan, sejumlah dai yang sudah ditempatkan itu, merupakan bagian dari 41 orang pendakwah yang mesti dipenuhi segera. “Sesuai kebutuhan daerah, kami sudah mengajukan sebanyak 41 orang dai kepada Dewan Dakwah pusat,” kata dia.
Itu sebab, sambungnya, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pendakwah tersebut, pihaknya mendirikan ADI di Kepri dan tahun ini sudah memulai perkuliahan.
Menjawab pertanyaan, dosen berbagai perguruan tinggi di Tanjungpinang itu mengatakan bahwa sistem perkuliah di ADI diberikan secara gratis.
“Perkuliahan di ADI gratis, mulai dari uang kuliah, makan minum hingga pemondokan mahasiswa,” tutur bapak empat orang anak ini.
Para mahasiswa, tambahnya, akan kuliah selama dua semester di Tanjungpinang. “Semester 3 hingga 8 mereka (mahasiswa, Red) akan melanjutkan kuliah di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Dakwah (STID) di Jakarta,” ujarnya.
Menurut Marsudi, sebelum mahasiswa di wisuda atau selesai kuliah, maka mereka harus melakukan pengabdian selama satu tahun terlebih dahulu dengan menjadi pendakwah di beberapa tempat.
“Diharapkan saat selesai kuliah nanti, para mahasiswa ini sudah bisa menjadi dai yang handal dan mampu menyampaikan syiarnya ajaran agama Islam di tengah-tengah masyarakat, terutama yang berada di pelosok desa/pulau,” kata dia.(red)
