Pembangunan Tubuh Embung Sebayar Akan Selesai Tahun Ini

NATUNA – Bupati Natuna, Wan Siswandi menegaskan bahwa pembangunan tubuh embung Sebayar akan selesai dikerjakan tahun 2022 ini.

Hal ini disampaikannya saat ditanya terkait progres pembangunan embung Sebayar untuk mengatasi krisis air bersih di kota Ranai dan sekitarnya pada saat-saat musim tertentu, Senin (9/5/2022) di ruang kerjanya.

Wan Siswandi mengatakan, pembangunan Embung Sebayar ini merupakan desakan dari pemerintah daerah Natuna kepada pihak Badan Wilayah Sungai Sumatera (BWSS) Kementerian PU, yang pernah tertunda pembangunannya bahkan terancam gagal karena tidak ada kepastian. Pemerintah Daerah Natuna akan membebaskan tanah seluas 18 hektar untuk lahan resapan air embung Sebayar.

Setelah Wan Siswandi dilantik sebagai Bupati Natuna, dirinya meyakinkan kepada pihak BWSS bahwa pemerintah daerah Natuna akan membebaskan lahan 18 hektar milik warga yang ada di sekitar embung tersebut, sehingga pihak BWSS melelang pekerjaan embung tersebut pada tahun ini.

“Anggaran pembangunan embung tersebut sudah lama disiapkan oleh BWSS, sayang kalau tidak kita gunakan. Disamping itu, pembangunan embung ini sangat penting, karena ke depan kebutuhan air bersih di Natuna pasti akan meningkat,” ungkap Wan Siswandi.

Wan Siswandi menjelaskan, bahwa pembangunan tubuh embung Sebayar dalam proses pekerjaan dengan anggaran 30,6 miliyar rupiah di atas lahan 5 hektar milik masyarakat yang dihibahkan ke pemerintah daerah.

Kita harus berfikir untuk kepentingan masyarakat yang lebih besar, karena ke depan kebutuhan air bersih akan meningkat, untuk itu pemerintah daerah bersedia membebaskan tanah seluas 18 hektar untuk lahan resapan embung Sebayar,” terang Wan Siswandi.

Hal ini juga dibenarkan oleh kepala Dinas PU Natuna, Agus Supardi bahwa embung tersebut tengah tahap pengerjaan oleh pihak ke tiga dengan masa pekerjaan selama 300 hari kerja.

“Saat ini kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintahan daerah Natuna adalah, pengajuan dokumen DPPT kepada Gubernur Kepri, untuk Penetapan Lokasi dan pelaksanaan Pembebasan tanahnya, dengan pengertian apakah pembebasan tanahnya itu dikerjakan oleh Gubernur atau di limpahkan kepada Bupati,” ungkap Agus Supardi.

Intinya, Kata Agus Supardi, Pemerintah Daerah Natuna saat ini konsentrasi penuh terhadap suksesnya pembangunan embung ini agar dapat dimanfaatkan semaksimal mungkin untuk masyarakat.

“Atas pemerintah bapak bupati, kami dinas teknis agar setelah embung selesai dibangun untuk sesegera mungkin dapat dimanfaatkan, guna memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih bagi masyarakat tanpa kenal musim. Hal ini juga untuk ketersediaan air bersih untuk 50 tahun ke depan dan juga untuk meyakinkan para pengusaha yang mau berinvestasi bahwa kita memiliki cadangan air bersih yang cukup,” tutupnya.
