Lihatkeperi.com, Batam – Setiap kecamatan diminta Wali Kota Batam, Muhammad Rudi mengajukan titik lokasi pemakaman umum. Hal ini disampaikan Rudi usai mengukuhkan Pengurus Fardhu Kifayah Kota Batam serta Pengurus Fardhu Kifayah Kecamatan se-Kota Batam di Hotel Sahid, Senin (17/2).
“Kita harap setiap pengurus kecamatan ajukan satu titik lahan. Kalau boleh carikan lahan untuk pemakaman ini. Kan mereka yang tahu lokasi lahan yang kosong. Ajukan, nanti kita cek di Kantor BP Batam. Kalau memang kosong, tidak ada PL, kita kasih saja lah,” kata Rudi yang juga menjabat Kepala Badan Pengusahaan (BP) Batam ini.
Ia mengamini bahwa lahan pemakaman ini memang harus disiapkan. Karena jumlah penduduk Batam semakin hari semakin bertambah banyak. Artinya kebutuhan lahan pemakaman juga akan bertambah.
“Kita harap dari Pengurus Fardhu Kifayah ini nanti ada rekomendasinya ke Pemko Batam. Nanti pemerintah ajukan ke BP Batam. Intinya ini harus kita siapkan,” ujarnya.
Ketua Pengurus Fardhu Kifayah Kota Batam, Makmur AT pada kesempatan tersebut meminta dukungan seluruh pihak khususnya umat muslim Batam. Agar kepengurusan fardhu kifayah 2020-2025 ini bisa berjalan sukses.
“Setelah pengukuhan ini kita akan mengadakan rapat kerja,” kata dia.
Panitia pelaksana pengukuhan Perwira Gatra memaparkan forum ini terbentuk atas pemikiran Wali Kota Batam, Muhammad Rudi. Kemudian ditindaklanjuti dengan pembentukan tim formatur pada Desember tahun lalu. Dan pada Januari 2020 ini struktur kepengurusan telah tersusun hingga tingkat kecamatan.
“Ada 146 orang pengurus fardhu kifayah di Batam, mulai dari tingkat kota hingga kecamatan,” tutur Sekretaris Pengurus Fardhu Kifayah Kota Batam ini.
Ke depan, pengurus fardhu kifayah merencanakan kunjungan ke lokasi-lokasi pemakaman yang ada di Kota Batam. Silaturahmi sekaligus memberikan bingkisan ke penggali kubur dan pemandi jenazah yang ada di sana.
“Selain itu kita juga akan mengadakan kegiatan pendidikan dan pelatihan untuk pengurus fardhu kifayah ini,” ungkapnya. (Media Center Batam)
