KODE ETIK WARTAWAN PT LIHAT KEPRI MEDIA

Kemerdekaan berpendapat, berekspresi, dan pers merupakan hak asasi manusia yang dilindungi Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 dan Deklarasi Universal Hak Asasi Manusia PBB. Kemerdekaan Pers merupakan sarana masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi dan berkomunikasi, guna memenuhi kebutuhan hakiki dan meningkatkan kualitas kehidupan untuk menjamin kemerdekaan pers dan memenuhi hak publik memperoleh informasi, wartawan memerlukan landasan moral dan etika profesi sebagai pedoman operasional untuk menegakkan integritas, independensi, serta profesionalisme.

Atas dasar itu, wartawan yang tergabung dalam Media www.lihatkepri.com wajib memenuhi Kode Etik Wartawan yang telah ada.

 

Adapun Kode Etik Wartawan www.lihatkepri.com sebagai berikut:

  1. Wartawan berkewajiban menjunjung tinggi kebenaran dan hak masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi serta bertanggung jawab kerpada publik;
  2. Wartawan memberitakan peristiwa atau fakta sesuai dengan suara hati nurani tanpa campur tangan, paksaan, dan interpensi dari pihak lain, termasuk pemilik Perusahaan Pers;
  3. Wartawan tidak menerima suap, tidak menyalahgunakan profesi dan menghindari konflik kepentingan;
  4. Wartawan harus mendapatkan informasi yang akurat dan selalu melakukan cek dan ricek;
  5. Wartawan menghormati privasi orang lain kecuali untuk kepentingan publik;
  6. Wartawan menghargai keanekaragaman sikap dan pandangan dalam masyarakat dan menghindari kebencian, prasangka, sikap merendahkan, diskriminasi dalam masalah suku, ras, bangsa, jenis kelamin, orientasi seksual, bahasa, agama, pandangan politik juga orang berkebutuhan khusus atau latar belakang sosial lainnya;
  7. Wartawan segera meralat kekeliruan dalam pemberitaan serta melayani hak jawab;
  8. Wartawan dilarang menjiplak, menggandakan, dan mengutip informasi serta menggunakan foto tanpa menjelaskan sumber aslinya;
  9. Wartawan dilarang menerima perlakuan istimewa baik berupa barang maupun uang dari narasumber atau pihak-pihak yang berpotensi diberitakan;
  10. Wartawan tidak mencampuradukkan antara fakta dan opini;
