Ditambahkannya bahwa dengan terselenggaranya event Internasional yang menghadirkan 1000-an lebih peserta dari 50 negara tentunya akan memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi nama Indonesia khususnya Kabupaten Bintan .
“Mari kita sukses kan Event Iron Man 70.3 Bintan , sambut wisatawan dan berikan kesan budaya yang baik , yang akan menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi Kabupaten Bintan ” ujar Apri Sujadi, dikutip dari laman Media Centre Bintan.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Apri Sujadi juga menyarankan kepada seluruh penyelenggara kegiatan agar mempersiapkan segala sesuatunya dengan baik , Pemerintah Kabupaten Bintan akan mendukung penuh demi kelancaran agenda tersebut.
Namun hal yang paling penting bagi dirinya adalah pentingnya keterlibatan masyarakat untuk ikut berpartisipasi, merasakan dan menjadi bagian penting dalam kesuksesan Event Internasional ini.
Sementara itu, Wakil Bupati Bintan Drs. Dalmasri Syam, MM dalam rapat tersebut mengemukakan agar kiranya pihak-pihak penyelenggara untuk segera melakukan koordinasi kepada pihak Imigrasi dan Bea Cukai demi kelancaran proses kedatangan wisatawan atlet mancanegara ini.
” Segera koordinasikan ke Pihak Imigrasi dan Bea dan Cukai agar proses kedatangan atlet -atlet Iron Man ini tidak mempunyai kendala yang berarti sebelum berlaga ” ujar Dalmasri Syam.
Event Iron Man 70.3 Bintan ini merupakan yang ke dua kalinya setelah tahun 2015, dimana rencana nya atlet asal New Zealand Cameron Brown peraih 4x Podium World Champ, 12x Iron Man NZ akan turut serta berlaga di Bintan sebelum pagelaran akbar Final Championship di Australia.
Untuk data sementara dari panitia kegiatan, Iron Man Kids juga akan diselenggarakan pada tanggal 27 Agustus 2016 dengan jumlah peserta mencapai 200 orang.
