BATAM – Dalam rangka persiapan pelaksanaan Pemilihan Umum Serentak Tahun 2024 Badan Kesatuan Bangsa dan Politik Kota Batam menyelenggarakan kegiatan Sosialisasi Pemilihan Umum Serentak Tahun 2024 untuk Organisasi Pemuda/Masyarakat dan Organisasi Perempuan Kota Batam, pada Selasa (14/11/2023) bertempat di Swissbell Hotel Harbour Bay Batam

Kaban Kesbangpol Kota Batam, Riama Manurung mengungkapkan bahwa kegiatan ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang bagaimana peran organisasi pemuda/masyarakat dan organisasi perempuan di bidang politik serta strategi meningkatkan partisipasi organisasi pemuda/masyarakat dan organisasi perempuan di Kota Batam.

“Dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih pada Pemilu serentak tahun 2024 nantinya” ujar Riama, Selasa (14/11/2023)

Riama juga menambahkan bahwa dengan partisipasi masyarakat dalam Pemilu diharapkan Demokrasi yang sehat dapat terwujud melalui penyelenggaraan Pemilu di Kota Batam yang aman, jujur dan adil.

“Kegiatan ini juga bagian dari upaya Pemerintah melalui Kesbangpol Kota Batam untuk mensukseskan gelaran Pemilu serentak Tahun 2024” tutup Riama.

Kegiatan ini dibuka oleh Sekretaris Daerah Kota Batam, Jefridin Hamid dan dilanjutkan dengan Pemaparan materi dari Akademisi UMRAH, Robby Patria dan Bawaslu Kota Batam, Reza Syailendra.

Dalam kegiatan ini hadir juga Kaban Kesbangpol Kota Batam beserta Sekretaris dan Kabid Poldagri Kesbangpol Kota Batam, Kepala OPD Kota Batam, Komisioner KPU Kota Batam, Komisioner Bawaslu Kota Batam, Perwakilan Istri Forkompimda se Kota Batam, Organisasi Perempuan se Kota Batam dan Organisasi Pemuda/Masyarakat se Kota Batam
